International Toxicology of Mixtures Conference 2011, will provide a dedicated platform to the discussion and debate of current evidence - based approaches to assessing the risk of mixtures. The conference will bring together the international toxicology community to not only review the conventional models and methods but to also challenge established opinions and work towards the development of more precise modes for understanding the toxicity and predicting risk.

Attracting a truly international audience, the Program will feature invited speakers presenting innovative and provocative perspectives for assessing interactions leaning towards improvement for assessing the risk of chemical mixtures. This is a unique opportunity to join your peers to discuss, debate, and challenge the current research and will provide an opportunity to effectively network with your colleagues.

Conference Special Issue

We will publish a Special Issue pertaining to this meeting in the Elsevier journal Toxicology. We would like to ask you to submit a paper following the meeting. Please submit your paper within 3 months of the meeting (i.e., no later than February 1st, 2012). We aim to publish the special issue in the September issue of Toxicology. Jane Ellen Simmons will act as the Guest Editor. Papers will be invited from all the keynote speakers, the selected speakers invited from abstract submissions and further selected submitted abstracts. In addition contributions from the audience and/or experts in this area may be invited to contribute to the special issue.
